Ensuring equipment is prepared in line with the installation schedule also machines are refurbished to a high level, overseeing the workshop and warehouse staff.

Any professional qualifications?

Commercial gas qualified in natural gas and LPG, PAT testing.

Why do you like your job? And Wolf?

I enjoy being involved with different aspects of the business and seeing the company continue to go from strength to strength.

Before Wolf?

I spent 5 years working in commercial catering covering Morrison’s supermarkets equipment. I then moved into commercial laundry and spent 2 years at Stanlands then onto JLA for 2 years after they acquired Stanlands. I left JLA to join Wolf where I came on board as employee number 7 working as a Service Engineer. After a couple of years, I became Service Manager and spent 6 years in that role and now I am working in my current role and will have been with Wolf for ten years in April.

What professional accomplishment are you most proud of?

Being service manager for the 6 years while Wolf was growing rapidly.

What is your favourite / funniest memory from your career so far?

Going over to Schulthess with Joe Benton in the early days of dealing with Schulthess, we had a night out in Rapperswil near Schulthess and we couldn’t get a taxi. Me and Joe ended up walking back through the Swiss countryside in torrential rain at about 3am.

Tell us more about you: What do you like to do in your free time?

I live with my partner Lucy, three sons Charlie, Louie and Archie, and our dog Bella also a fourth son, Tom, who doesn’t live at home anymore but is also working at Wolf on an Apprenticeship. Currently spending all my spare time doing DIY and decorating on our new house.

Do you have a particular interest or passion?

I’m a keen supporter of Rotherham United, love going to the games with my son Louie and sometimes Archie comes just for the snacks!
