Donna Evans

Marketing Manager

Donna, Marketing Manager

A bit about your role?

I head up the marketing function at Wolf where I develop multichannel strategies to help with business achieve its objectives. It’s a hands on role, so once the strategy is in place I am involved in every element of delivery, from branding to events, website to social media and everything inbetween.

Any professional qualifications?

I have a joint honours BA in Marketing and Public Relations. I’m also a Chartered Member of the Institute of Public Relations.

Why do you like your job? And Wolf?

It’s incredibly varied and fast moving. Every day is completely different. I also work with a really nice bunch of people!

Before Wolf?

I spend 16 years in marketing and PR agencies in London, Leeds and then my hometown of sunny Barnsley; becoming Client Services Director at 28. In this role I developed award winning marketing strategies for a huge range of clients from start-ups to £350m high street brands. From there I made the move in-house to a medical services company and spent 7 years running both the marketing and product sales teams and also leading the SLT.

What professional accomplishment are you most proud of?

My press release being published in The New York Times.

Describe your career in three words?

Curveballs and standard!

Favourite / funniest memory from your career so far?

Holding a launch event at The Mayfair having to try to keep Mel B there whilst keeping an over-enthusiastic Chris Eubank at arm’s length!

Tell us more about yourself: What do you like to do in your free time?

I’m married to Jonathan. We have a six year old daughter and a naughty Labrador; I spend a lot of time hoovering and mopping! We love to travel and try to get away as often as we can. Our dream is to buy somewhere in the sun!

Give a lesser known fact about yourself?

I once sang on the Christmas edition of Look North.
